Reactions to Cobra Kai Season 2 Ending and what to expect from Season 3

WARNING: CONTAINS SPOILERS OF SEASON 1 AND 2

If you are still reading this, you either have watched Season 1 and 2 or ignored the above warning. Either way, we are just going through a small recap, for the sake of those who might be interested in watching it or want to remember it.

The main cast of this American action comedy-drama:

Daniel LaRusso (Ralph Macchio) - one of the main characters in the series, it shows Daniel 34 years later, apparently living the rich and satisfactory life he envisioned for himself while living in Reseda. Now married with two children, he is a car dealership salesman and tries to balance and connect with his family after the death of his friend and mentor, Mr. Miyagi. He suddenly feels threatened as his childhood karate rival, Johnny Lawrence, pops up back in his life, re-opening Cobra Kai, a dojo which used to raise bullies and thugs to beat up the weak and show mercy. Throughout the series, he and Johnny constantly fight, costing others and themselves different things, till in the end, his own daughter ends up in the hospital and his wife tells him to stop karate once and for all.

Johnny Lawrence (William Zabka) - the main character of the series, it plays Johnny 34 years later after coming second in the All Valley Tournament. At the beginning, it shows him scrounging around, doing odd jobs to make a living. After saying his neighbor, Miguel Diaz from being beaten up by bullies using karate, when Miguel begs him to teach him karate, after some thought he decides to re-open Cobra Kai, as a chance to reclaim his past. However, this brings back his rivalry with Daniel LaRusso. His dojo attracts socially bullied teenagers who want revenge for the things people have said and done to them. He develops a close relationship with his first student, Miguel Diaz and an even closer relationship :) with Miguel's single working mom, Carmen. However, no matter how hard Johnny tries to infuse honor into Cobra Kai and make amends, things just don't work in his favor, as in the end, Miguel's mom never wants to see him again and Miguel himself is in a coma.

Miguel Diaz (Xolo Mariduena) - one of the main characters in the series. He is an asthmatic teen who constantly gets bullied by other people, especially in school. After being trained by Johnny, he impresses his school mates and Samantha LaRusso by beating up the people who bullied him and were bullying her. He takes her out on a date and the two seem romantically involved till when drunk he accidentally hits her when aiming for Robby. He is fueled by rage and pays Robby back by beating him in the All Valley Tournament but still doesn't get Sam back. They do kiss at a friend's party showing that feelings are still there, but that kiss results in an all out karate brawl between Cobra Kai students and Miyagi Do's students in which because Miguel shows Robby mercy and refuses to break his arm, Robby kicks him off a balcony, resulting in a broken spine and leaving him in a coma.

Robby Keene (Tanner Buchanan) - one of the main characters in the series. He is Johnny's abandoned son living with his mom (Johnny's ex-girlfriend). He cons people and sells their property till he sees an advert for Cobra Kai and moves to Reseda to try and talk to his dad. Unfortunately, he caches sight of his dad and Miguel hugging and chumming up, making him feel resentful and bitter. He gets a job at LaRusso Auto Sales to piss off his dad. Upon meeting Sam, he becomes infatuated with her and tries to date her. When Sam's mom's purse goes missing, he runs into some of his old con buddies and tries to fight them with karate Daniel taught him. He and Sam stay at he LaRusso's home for the whole of summer, such that soon enough, Sam starts to get feelings for him. When he learns that Sam kissed Miguel, he is fueled by rage and fights Miguel. Miguel being the better fighter, pins him down but shows him mercy. Being the dishonorable person he is, he uses that opportunity to kick him off a balcony and break his spine.

Well, those are the four main characters. You can either watch the series for more (I highly recommend that) or comment for an update of the remaining cast. As you must now know, Season 2 ended in an all out karate brawl between Cobra Kai and Miyagi Do's students. Miguel ends up in a coma, Carmen wants nothing to do with Johnny, the LaRusso's are broken up and trying to see what went wrong, Robby is no where to be found and John Kreese has successfully stolen Cobra Kai from Johnny.
